1950s deadstock British Texsun by Westcot kids jeans

An extraordinary find, these jeans have been sittng in a shop storeroom untouched since the 1950s. They show the American influence on British culture at an early stage when proper US denims weren't widely available. In the absence of actual blue denim, this black version was the best alternative, with green stitching and western styling. Great Lightning zips throughout. The tags provide a snapshot of the aspirational freewheeling young dude if in his tent, toothbrush in his back pocket, that these were aimed at. A museum/archive piece or just hang 'em on your wall. They're tagged as a 26" wast with a 25" inside leg.
