1980s Cooper A-2 leather flying jacket, large

A design classic, as worn by US pilots during WW2 and immortalised on screen by Steve McQueen  in the Great Escape. Reintroduced by the US Air Force in  the 1980s when the contract was awarded to Cooper with the proviso it was made in the US wth only US materials. This is just such an example, made in goatskin with two front patch pockets and an Ideal zipper.A little wrinkled from storage but otherwise great, with lovely patina. It's tagged 42 but please check measurements:
