1950s/60s French Firefighters workwear jacket, size medium

A rare and beautifully aged cotton drill jacket from the Sapeurs Pompiers dating from the 1950s or 60s in lovely condition with its collar tabs and buttons intact. Tagged as a continental size 52, which is approximately a 40" chest but please check measurements:
