1960s/70s Maxproof wax cotton 3/4 length coat, L/XL

A superb piece of British outdoor kit made by the sadly defunct Edward MacBean of Glasgow and sporting the Maxproof characteristic double buttoning draft excluding fly front, with double layer yoke and enormous bellows pockets. The rear vent has been sewn up and an inside pocket has been added using a couple of safety pins, which can of course be removed but I like it. It's a big coat and probably an XL but as it's an outdoor coat looks good oversize. I'm a medium/large usually and I'd wear it, if that helps. It measures approximately 27" pit to pit and 41" in length. Has a couple of  small repairs but overall excellent condition. A rare, practical and stylish coat.
